Bayern Munich is very much interested in Tottenham striker Harry Kane; Spurs reject verbal £60m offer from Bundesliga champions; Kane has one year remaining on his contract

Tottenham have told Sky Sports News that no official bid has been made for Kane. The club’s stance is that any offer will be declined.

Sky Sports News reporter Michael Bridges:

“One source told me that an offer [from Bayern] did take place in, but Tottenham say no official bid has taken place in, and their position remains the same: Kane isn’t for sale.

“Of course, bids can be presented in various ways; official, written, phone conversations, verbal. It’s difficult to prove one way or the other unless you are in the room. But Bayern Munich would like Harry Kane.

“Things have certainly moved on from the earlier part of the window where we reported Manchester United were interested. Today is a significant development because we know Bayern Munich are very interested in Harry Kane.

“Tottenham are not prepared to listen to any offers and, as far as Daniel Levy is concerned, Kane will be playing for Spurs next season.
