Major League Soccer, MLS, has set its sights on making Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic the face of the league after the 2026 FIFA World Cup, replacing Lionel Messi, according to AS.

The plan is to lure Pulisic back to the United States, and the player is open to returning.

The MLS has already made plans for the future, despite Messi’s plans to join the league.

The Argentina captain is yet to debut for Inter Miami after joining the club on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

Transfer: PSG might risk Kylian Mbappe to free transfer

Paris Saint-Germain have again reiterated that Kylian Mbappe must sign a new contract or risk being sold this summer.

Last month, Mbappe wrote a letter to the Ligue 1 champions, stating he wouldn’t extend his deal beyond June 2024.

This means that if PSG don’t sell him before next season, they risk losing the France forward on a free transfer.
