Chelsea boss, Graham Potter has said that N’Golo Kante is a great asset to the club.
The English coach was responding to the question of the Frenchman refusing to renew his contract at Stamford Bridge.
But the former Brighton boss said that what matters to him was to see the France international back on the pitch, having been ruled out for tonight’s Champions League clash
Kante has made progress in his recovery but he won’t feature in Wednesday night’s clash as Potter revealed.
“My focus at the moment is to help rehabilitate N’Golo in a good way so he’s available for us, because when he’s on the pitch, he’s a huge asset for us,” Potter told reporters on Tuesday
“The other stuff is between the club and him. My focus is to help him get fit, get him enjoying his football, because there’s not many players in world football like NG.
“So the quicker he’s back for us the better. So that’s where I’ll leave my focus.”
