Timothy Castagne’s transfer from Leicester to Fulham, as stated by Marco Silva, is “really close” to being accomplished.
Following Silva’s recent calls for moves ahead of the September 1 deadline, and the departure of star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic earlier this month, a cost said to be in the range of £15 million is close to being agreed upon.

“When we originally began to plan for this season, he was one of my first targets.
“He’s a really skilled player who I think will be a fantastic acquisition for us. He’s a player who will give us very good solutions in terms of position.

The feedback I have received shows that things are moving in the right direction. Either today or tomorrow, we will learn more about him, and I am thrilled since he is so close to becoming our player.
“We have Kenny [Tete] and Antonio [Robinson], who we are really happy with, but we need a right-back, and we can get one with the quality of Timothy, with his experience and versatility at left-back also.”
