Odion Ighalo says he is still available to play for the Super Eagles.

Ighalo quit international football after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The forward was the top scorer at the competition, helping the Super Eagles claim third place.

The 34-year-old later rescinded his decision and was called to the Super Eagles for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. However, his then Saudi club, Al Shabab, blocked him from taking part.

The striker is, however, not ruling out the possibility of returning to the team.

“I do not think about the national team conversations for now,” Ighalo told Elegbete TV.

“You never can say ‘never’ because the last time I announced my retirement, it felt too soon.

As for now, I do not have much to say other than that I will continue to play club football and see how things develop.”
