Manchester City have entered the race for Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga after pulling out of a deal for Declan Rice. This is according to The Guardian.
The 21-year-old is also of interest to Liverpool and Chelsea and has a £34.6m release clause.
It is claimed the Spanish player is on City’s shortlist to strengthen their midfield after losing Ilkay Gundogan to Barcelona.
He is also missing out on West Ham’s Rice, who is set to join Arsenal in a £105m deal.

Transfer: Ezeh moves to Bundesliga club, Hannover 96
Bundesliga club, Hannover 96 have signed Nigerian defender, Brooklyn Kevin Ezeh.
Ezeh linked up with the former Bundesliga champions from Liga 3 side, SV Wehen Wiesbaden for eight hundred thousand euros.
The left-back only joined SV Wehen Wiesbaden from Viktoria Berlin last summer.
Th 22-year-old caught the eye after netting twice in 35 appearances for Viktoria Berlin.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Ezeh stated that he can’t wait to start a new adventure.
