Rio Ferdinand has said that the new summer signing for Manchester City is a great addition to the team.
This summer, Manchester City acquired Kovacic from Chelsea for a reported £25 million.
The Croatian international, 29, was a major contributor to Chelsea’s recent success, but his performance began to decline after Thomas Tuchel was fired.

Talking on his FIVE YouTube channel, the previous Manchester Joined star said: ” Man City, Kovacic is a fantastic acquisition. Clearly, they have lost captain Gundogan, but I think Kovacic is a smart move at that price.
“In the current market, I believe he was worth £30 million, which is a huge and excellent business. He’s brimming with experience, won the greatest prizes, and an alternate player to what they have around there. He can go with the ball through the lines, so I think he is a decent marking.”
