The issues facing Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou are getting worse following their 2-1 loss to Wolves on Saturday.

After Tottenham’s 2-1 loss to Wolves on Saturday, Ange Postecoglou’s issues have grown more and more of a concern. After late goals from Pablo Sarabia and Mario Lemina stunned the visitors, Spurs were poised to reclaim the top spot in the Premier League with a hard-fought victory at Molineux. However, a number of problems will make Postecoglou’s job much more challenging in the upcoming weeks.

James Maddison was substituted during the 4-1 loss to Chelsea due to an injury; thus, Postecoglou will now need to make more changes to his team for their upcoming game.

That is because Yves Bissouma has picked up his fifth booking of the season, earning the Malian midfielder an automatic one-match suspension in the Premier League. And that ensures he will miss the next game against Aston Villa on November 26 after the international break.

Bissouma has already missed one game through suspension this season after he was sent off in the 1-0 win over Luton last month. The 25-year-old picked up two yellow cards in quick succession, one for simulation, having already been in course for a one-match ban.

But the regulations state that once a red card is shown, the offence is no longer considered a red card and he moved back onto four bookings. However, his indiscipline against Wolves means he will move onto his fifth booking of the season and sit out for the next game.
