Paris Saint-Germain have again reiterated that Kylian Mbappe must sign a new contract or risk being sold this summer.

Last month, Mbappe wrote a letter to the Ligue 1 champions, stating he wouldn’t extend his deal beyond June 2024.

This means that if PSG don’t sell him before next season, they risk losing the France forward on a free transfer.

But the club’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, speaking on Wednesday, stated that Mbappe would not run down his deal.

“We do not want him to leave for free in 2024. Our position is clear. If Kylian wishes to stay, we encourage him to stay. But he needs a new contract. We don’t want to lose the most talented player in the world for free. According to Al-Khelaifi, it is impossible.
