Wolves are set to re-sign defender Matt Doherty on a free transfer

Formal Tottenham full-back Doherty played 260 league games more than a ten-year time span during his most memorable spell at Molineux.

He signed with Spurs in the summer of 2020, but in January, the north London team ended his contract so he could move on to Atletico Madrid.

However, the international player from the Republic of Ireland has only made two appearances for them at the Wanda Metropolitano. talksport report

The Athletic reports that an arrangement among Wolves and Atletico Madrid still can’t seem to be concurred yet the Republic of Ireland global is hoping to seal a move back to Molineux after sure discussions with the premier league club.

Doherty showed up for Wolves north of a ten-year time span prior to joining Tottenham in the late spring of 2020.

Spurs then, at that point, ended his agreement in January so he could finish with Athletic yet made two appearance to the Spanish club.
