Manchester United Manager Approaches to sign Bayern Munich top attacker

Manchester United have reportedly made a surprise enquiry about the availability of former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane, as Erik ten Hag continues to seem to bolster his attacking options.

The Germany international has failed to nail down a regular beginning spot because swapping City for Bayern in 2020.

And the arrival of Sadio Mane in Munich has not helped his cause. Another flying winger, Serge Gnabry, additionally signed a new Bayern deal in July – having seemed like he would leave.

Sane started solely 22 Bundesliga games closing season. He has, however, scored 25 desires in 91 outings for the Bavarian giants.

Ten Hag has been in the market for another winger ever since arriving at United from Ajax.

Brazilian attacker Antony stays on his radar, with the pair having worked together in Holland. However, the Red Devils have already seen two provides for the ahead rebuffed.

And now, United have switched their focus to former City flier Sane, as reported in the Sunday Mirror.

Sane a no-risk option for Ten Hag
Ten Hag is stated to consider that the 26-year-old’s Premier League ride skill he will no hassle acclimatising lower back to England’s top flight.

Sane gained the Premier League twice during his time at The Etihad, and has done likewise at Bayern.

However, United are not the only club interested in signing the player.

United have so far added in Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen. But Ten Hag wants another attacker and potentially a midfielder, as he appears to get the club back in the top-four race.
